Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 13, 2026

1. Introduction

ieIMPACT Technologies Inc. ("ieIMPACT," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website www.ieimpact.com and use our appraisal data entry services ("Services").

By using our Services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, business type, and password
  • Billing Information: Credit card number, billing address, and payment details
  • Professional Information: Appraisal license information, E&O insurance details, coverage areas, and software preferences
  • Service Data: Property data, appraisal reports, inspection sheets, comparable sales data, and other information necessary to complete your orders
  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact customer support or communicate with us

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Services, we automatically collect:

  • Device Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers
  • Usage Information: Pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, access times and dates
  • Location Information: General geographic location based on IP address
  • Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to track activity and store preferences

2.3 AI Chat Assistant

Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant. When you interact with it, we collect the content of your messages and the responses generated. This data is used to answer your questions, improve service quality, and is processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) under their data processing terms. We do not use chat conversations to train AI models without your explicit consent.

2.4 AMC-Connect Chrome Extension

AMC-Connect is a companion Chrome browser extension that helps appraisers autofill AMC application forms. When you use AMC-Connect, we may collect:

  • Professional profile data you provide for autofill (license numbers, coverage areas, credentials)
  • AMC application submission history
  • Browser and extension usage data for functionality and error reporting

AMC-Connect does not read, store, or transmit data from web pages unrelated to AMC application forms. Data collected through the extension is subject to this Privacy Policy.

2.5 ieINSPECT Mobile App

ieINSPECT is an offline-only iOS app for field property inspections. We do not collect, transmit, or store any ieINSPECT data on our servers. Here is how data is handled within the app:

  • Local storage only: All inspection data (addresses, property details, inspection notes, photos, floor plan sketches) is stored exclusively on your device using SQLite. Nothing is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
  • Camera access: The app requests camera access solely to capture property inspection photos. Photos are saved to the app's private document directory — not to your device's camera roll — and never leave the app unless you explicitly export them.
  • No account required: ieINSPECT does not require registration or login. The only optional personal data is an email address you can enter in Settings for export convenience; it is stored locally on your device only.
  • User-initiated export only: When you choose to export (via email, share, or save to device), data leaves the app solely through your explicit action using the iOS share sheet. ieIMPACT has no access to your exported data.
  • No analytics or tracking: ieINSPECT contains no analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, or crash-reporting services that transmit data off-device.
  • No third-party services: The app makes no API calls and shares no data with third parties.
  • Data deletion: You can delete individual inspections within the app at any time. Uninstalling ieINSPECT removes all data from your device entirely.
  • Children's privacy: ieINSPECT is intended for licensed real estate appraisers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children through the app.

For Apple App Store compliance purposes, ieINSPECT is declared as "Data Not Collected" — no data is linked to you or collected by ieIMPACT through the app.

2.6 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from:

  • MLS providers (when you grant us access)
  • Public records and assessor websites
  • Business information providers

2.7 SMS and Text Messaging

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from ieIMPACT, we collect and use that number to send you SMS communications. The following terms apply:

  • Types of messages: We send transactional messages (order confirmations, status updates, completed report notifications) and, where you have separately opted in, marketing and promotional messages about our services.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Transactional messages are sent as events occur; marketing messages are sent periodically.
  • How to opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. Opting out of marketing SMS does not affect transactional messages related to active orders.
  • How to get help: Reply HELP to any SMS message or contact us at [email protected] or +1-408-256-0154.
  • Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. ieIMPACT is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.
  • Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No sharing for marketing: Your mobile phone number collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • Consent not required: You are not required to consent to receive marketing SMS messages as a condition of purchasing or using our services.
